Roberto Viking- a short SL biography

Roberto Viking first materialized from a cloud of sparkling tachyons into SecondLife on Nov 02, 2006. After a short period of Nomadic Noobieness, he settled in the Mainland Sim of Alice, where he befriended neighbors and Caledon Founders Desmond Shang and Gerami Fizz.

For a period of months, he studied the art of Prim Construction as his main SL passtime. He was aware of Caledon's existance, having visited the Fizzworks store in Caledon Prime, but had not thought much about Caledon one way or the other. At some point (date now forgotten), in the course of conversation with the Guvnah, Roberto was offered Citzenship in Caledon, which he immediately accepted. It was just a matter of time, as he visited Caledon, and befriended more of its people, before he came to love the Nation, and all it stood for. He is now a rabid promoter of Caledon, singing its praises across the grid, and in the mythical place called RL, where he visits from time to time.

Roberto liquidated his holdings in Alice, selling them to various other Caledon residents, and asked to be put on "the list" to wait for property in Caledon somewhere. Shortly thereafter, via one of Caledon's famous lightning-quick land transfers, he purchased a plot in Caledon Eyre. Through various 'horse trades', he has also held properties in Stormhold, Brigadoon, and Glengarry. At present his only land holding is a private homestead island he shares with his Second Life 'sister' Luise Docherty. Though not a current Caledon landhold, he still considers himself of Caledonean citizenship.

He is a man of modest, but independent means. It is rumored that he draws his operating expenses from some mysterious source in RL.

When not working on a building project, Roberto is often seen at music events, particularly those put on by Radio Riel, enjoying the music, dancing, and socializing. He enjoys exploring the grid at large, and the Realm of the Roses areas in particular. In the near future, Roberto plans to take up sailing and piloting.

Education being a life-long passion, he continues to sharpen his skills in building and scripting. Being of the helpful sort, Roberto is usually willing to lend a hand, or be a sympathetic listener, to a friend in need.

Roberto's typist lives in the USA, near Philadelphia.
