Description
- Project: The Independent State of Caledon
- Region: N/A
- Theme: Cultural Centre
- Sim Landmarks: Two of the Eight Wonders of Caledon: Gaiety Theatre and Connolly Aerodrome.
Penzance is described in the covenant as a cultural center, including theatrical production and machinima filming; access may be limited for several hours a month due to cultural events. The main downtown street, Pirate Kings Rd., contains premade structures; these cannot be modified (aside from adding signage), but are not included in one's prim count.
Penzance is bordered by Strathspey to the north, Mayfair to the south, and Morgaine to the west. It contains the eastern edge of the Trans Caledon Mountain Range.
Two Caledon National Rail lines run through Penzance; one connects to Morgaine, the other to Brigadoon. Both stop at the aerodrome, and connect to Mayfair in the other direction.
Penzance was the first non-Openspace region in Caledon not to have a functioning telehub.
